Earning and maintaining the CCJ is a three-part process. Candidates must first submit an application. The next step is to take and pass the CCJ exam. Once you have earned the certification, you must maintain it by fulfilling certification renewal requirements every three years.

Exam Application

You must be certified by the NCSG, NFI, or CSIA for a minimum of 3 years before applying for the CCJ exam. We recommend having 3-6 years of experience. When filling out the application you must read and agree to uphold the candidate agreement. The application is where you will provide proof of your current certification. You will also need to provide a current headshot to use for your badge photo. Because our exams are tied to individuals, not companies or organizations, we recommend using a personal email when applying for the exam.

To apply for the CCJ exam, a fee of $50 must be submitted with your application. Once your application is approved, you will then submit the exam fee of $499 for members or $699 for non-members. Find out more about fees and what the application process looks like.

The Exam

The CCJ exam is available online anytime and in person on select dates. Find out more about in-person exam dates and locations, exam content, and what to expect on exam day.
